2nd Annual Spring Festival

We welcome spring with the 2nd Annual Spring Festival at the Saratoga Farmers’ Market. Spring Festival offers 4 FREE workshops and cooking demonstrations during the market. Plus, FREE activities for families and children and special guests with information on gardening, food preparation, and more.
The schedule includes:
9 – 10 A.M.
Using Native Plants in Your Landscape with Susan Schurman O’Donnell of Dutch Girl Garden Design (free beverage from Something’s Brewing for all attendees)
10 – 11 A.M. – Food Preservation 101 – An Overview of Canning, Freezing & Dehydrating with Diane Whitten of Cornell Cooperative Extention (free cider and donuts from Malta Ridge Orchard & Gardens for all attendees)
11 A.M. – 12 P.M. – The Ins and Outs of Composting with Michael Cohen of Sustainable Saratoga
12 – 1 P.M. – Live cooking and food sampling with Chef Dan Spitz (free market logo apron for all attendees)FREE Activities for Children & Families hosted by Sustainable Saratoga and Northeast Parent & Child Society, 9 A.M – 1 P.M.
